Keeping your changes safe

Updated Oct 30, 2026

  • Edit pages and site styles in Elementor, and events, venues and plans in the Site manager. Those changes are stored in your site's database and survive theme updates.
  • Do not edit the theme's or the plugin's files directly, because an update replaces them. For code changes, use a child theme or a small custom plugin.
  • Keep the Soiree Scout and Seat Core plugin active. The theme relies on it for its features, reservations and payments.
