Events, venues and the Site manager

Updated Oct 30, 2026

Soirée adds a Site manager menu to your WordPress dashboard. It is one modern screen for everything the site keeps.

What is in it

  • Overview: the site at a glance, with recent messages and payments.
  • Events: each event's name, date and time, venue, city, category, price, seats and pictures.
  • Venues: each venue's city, capacity, rating and gallery pictures.
  • Guests: the guest list for your events.
  • Blog posts, Team, FAQs, Testimonials and Refund notes: the content shown on the blog, about, FAQ and pricing pages.
  • Pricing plans: the plans on the pricing page (see below).
  • Messages: what visitors send from the site's forms.
  • Payments: the reservations paid on the site.
  • Payment settings, Email settings, Form fields and Spam protection: the site's settings, for administrators.

Each list shows its records as cards with their pictures. Use the search box and filters at the top, click a card to edit it, or click Add to create a new one. Changes show on the site straight away.

Adding an event

  1. Go to Site manager → Events and click Add.
  2. Fill in its name, date and time, venue, city, category, price and seats, and add its pictures.
  3. Save. The event appears on the home page, on the events page (in its occasion and city filters) and on its own event page.

The event's price is the General ticket. The VIP and Table tiers are worked out from it.

Pricing plans

The pricing page draws one card for each published plan, in the order you set. Its Monthly / Annual switch works out the prices. To change a price, add a plan or switch one off, edit it under Site manager → Pricing plans.
