Engaging learners
Updated Oct 30, 2026
Skill Forge keeps learners going and shows you what works. Everything here is under the LMS menu in your WordPress dashboard, which administrators can open.
The LMS screens
- Overview: the school at a glance.
- Engagement: who is at risk of stopping, reminder settings and your AI key.
- Students: every learner with their courses, progress, certificates and work.
- Course reports: where learners stop in each course, which quiz questions they get wrong, and sales.
- Instructors, Certificates and Submissions: the people who teach, every certificate issued, and the projects waiting for a grade.
- Certificate design: the certificate's template, colour, logo, words and signature, with a live preview.
Streaks and weekly goals
Learners see on their dashboard how many days in a row they have studied, and how many lectures they have finished this week against their own weekly goal.
Reminders
A learner who has not studied for a set number of days, or has left a course unfinished, gets an email and a notification. It tells them where they were and what comes next. Reminders go at most once a week and never after the learner unsubscribes. Under Engagement you can see who is at risk and remind them in one click.
Drip content
In a course's curriculum (Courses → edit → Curriculum), a section can open a set number of days after the learner enrolls, or once the section before it is done.
AI quiz writer
Add your own OpenAI or Anthropic key under LMS → Engagement. In the curriculum editor, a quiz lecture can then write its questions from a lecture's text. Check and edit them before you save.
Search
The search page shows the courses whose title, subtitle or category match the words, plus matching categories and blog articles.
