Courses, lessons and certificates

Courses

Courses live under Courses in your dashboard. Each course has a title, subtitle, category and subcategory, instructor, level, language, price (and an optional original price) and image. Courses appear in the catalog, their category page and search automatically.

Curriculum

Open a course and go to Courses → edit → Curriculum. A curriculum is made of sections, and each section holds lectures:

• Video: add the lecture's video link and its text.
• Article: a written lesson.
• Quiz: multiple-choice questions. Quizzes are marked on the server, so the answers never reach the learner's browser.

A new course starts with a sample quiz and project for its topic until you write your own.

Learning and progress

A learner who owns a course takes it on its learn page. What they finish is saved, and their progress shows in My account → My courses (in progress, completed and archived).

Assignments

Courses can include a project assignment. Learners hand it in, and instructors grade it from the instructor dashboard.

Certificates

A finished course earns a certificate with its own number. Anyone can check a certificate by its number.

Notifications

Learners are told when something happens, such as a graded assignment or an answered message.
