Wayfare
A warm, editorial travel WordPress theme for tour operators and travel agencies, with tour packages, itineraries and online booking.
About
Travel slower. See more.
Wayfare is a WordPress theme for tour operators, travel agencies and small-group travel brands. Warm photography and an editorial look make every trip feel special, and travelers can find a tour, read its day-by-day itinerary and request a booking in a few clicks.
Every page is built with Elementor, so you can change text, images, colours and layouts visually without touching code. A one-click demo import makes your site look exactly like the demo in minutes.
Everything you need
- Tours and destinations from the admin: every tour and destination is a record you keep in the Site manager, with its itinerary, what is included and not included, gallery and highlights. A new tour shows on every page at once.
- Trip search and filters: search from the home page by destination, date and travelers. The tours page filters by words, maximum price, duration, category and rating, and sorts the results.
- Tour pages: a photo gallery, overview, day-by-day itinerary, what is included and not, reviews and a booking card with the price for your travelers.
- 3-step booking with add-ons: trip summary, lead traveler and add-ons, then review. The price is worked out on the server from the tour itself.
- Traveler accounts: browsing stays open to everyone. Requesting a booking asks the traveler to sign in, and their choices are kept. Signed in, they see their bookings and change their details.
- Bookings desk: every request waits under Site manager → Bookings. Confirm or decline it with a note, then mark it completed or cancel it. The traveler sees each change and gets an email.
- Wishlist: travelers save tours with the heart and find them on the wishlist page.
- Destinations: filter by region and type, with each destination's highlights, best time to visit and its tours.
- Reviews, blog and FAQ: a reviews page, a travel journal with categories, an FAQ and a newsletter sign-up.
- Site manager (React admin): one modern admin screen for tours, destinations, bookings, reviews, blog posts, team, FAQs, testimonials and messages.

Frequently asked questions
Can travelers book online?
Yes. On a tour's page they choose a date and the number of travelers, then go through three steps: trip summary, lead traveler and add-ons, and review. The request waits under Site manager → Bookings for you to confirm or decline, and the traveler is emailed at every step.
Do travelers need an account?
Browsing, the wishlist and the booking steps are open to everyone. Sending a booking request asks the traveler to sign in or create a free account, and their choices are kept while they do.
How do I add a tour?
Open Site manager → Tours and click Add. Fill in its destination, price, duration, category, gallery, itinerary (one day per line) and what is included and not. It appears on the tours page, its destination and the home page straight away.
Does it take payments?
Bookings are sent as requests that you confirm, so no card is charged online. You arrange payment with the traveler after confirming.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Every page is edited visually in Elementor, and tours, destinations and bookings are kept in one admin screen.
Does the demo content come with it?
Yes. The one-click demo import brings in every page, record and setting from the demo.
Which plugins do I need?
Only the free Elementor plugin. Wayfare's companion plugin is included in the download.
Is it translation-ready?
Yes. All of the theme's own text can be translated with any standard WordPress translation plugin.
