Bookings, prices and payments

How booking works

1. On the home page's estimate or a service, the customer clicks Book.
2. The Book your clean page asks for the service, how often, bedrooms and bathrooms, add-ons, the date and time, the address and ZIP code, and their details. The price updates as they choose.
3. To book they sign in or create a free account. Their choices are kept while they do.

The price is always worked out on your server from the service's own price, the frequency discount, the rooms and the add-ons.

Paying

• With Stripe: add your publishable and secret keys under Settings → Payments. The card is taken when the customer books, on Stripe's secure page.
• Without Stripe: the booking is confirmed as Booked - pay later. After the clean, open it under Site manager → Bookings and click Mark as paid.

Both the customer and you get an email for every booking.

Prices

Each service's price is kept under Site manager → Services. The home page estimate, the booking page and the contact page's quote form all read the same prices, so you change a price once.
