Properties, rooms and reservations

Aurelia adds a Resort menu to your WordPress dashboard (for editors and administrators). It is one modern screen for:

• Overview: the resorts at a glance.
• Bookings: every stay booked on the site.
• Properties: each property's name, destination, pictures, amenities, location and policies.
• Rooms & suites: each room's property, type, size, guests, bed, view, features and nightly rate.
• Offers: the special offers.
• Messages: what guests send from the site's forms.

How a reservation works

1. The guest searches stays or opens a property and chooses a room, dates and guests.
2. On the booking page they can add breakfast, an airport transfer or a spa ritual.
3. To reserve they sign in or create a free account.
4. They pay on Stripe's secure page and land on the confirmation page.

Nights, add-ons and taxes are always worked out on your server.

Taking payments with Stripe

1. In Stripe, copy your publishable key and secret key (start with the test keys).
2. In WordPress, go to Settings → Payments and paste them.
3. Make a test reservation with Stripe's test card 4242 4242 4242 4242, then switch to your live keys.

Until keys are added, the checkout runs as a demo and charges nothing.
