Getting started

Updated Nov 8, 2026

Thank you for choosing Apex Motors. A premium car dealer and marketplace WordPress theme: dealer stock, private sellers' ads, filters, finance calculator and test-drive bookings. This guide covers installing the theme, setting your site up exactly like the demo, and running it afterwards.

What's included

  • Apex Motors: the theme, as a .zip file you upload to WordPress.
  • Apex Motors Core: the companion plugin. It comes inside the theme package (in its plugins folder) and adds the site's features and the one-click demo import.
  • This documentation.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or newer
  • PHP 8.0 or newer
  • Elementor (free, from WordPress.org)

The demo import installs the required plugins for you, or you can install them yourself from Plugins → Add New.

Next steps

  1. Install the theme
  2. Activate your license
  3. Import the demo
  4. Edit your pages
  5. Cars, seller ads and accounts
