Cars, seller ads and accounts

Apex Motors adds a Site manager menu to your WordPress dashboard.

Your dealer stock

Under Site manager → Vehicles, click Add (or a card to edit one) and fill in:

• the make, model, trim, year, price and mileage,
• the body type, fuel, transmission, engine, colour and condition (New or Used),
• the main photo and the gallery (pick the photos from the media library),
• the features, one per line,
• Featured, to show the car in This week's standouts on the home page.

The car appears in the inventory (and in its filters) and on its own page. The Vehicles tab shows your dealer stock only.

Private sellers' ads

Visitors can sign up and click Post an ad to list their own car with photos. A new ad is waiting until you check it under Site manager → User ads, where you can:

• Approve it, so it goes live in the inventory,
• Reject it with a reason, which is emailed to the seller,
• mark it Sold, list it again or delete it.

Sellers see their ads and each ad's state under My ads (also linked from their account page), and can edit an ad or mark it sold.

Accounts

Buyers and sellers sign in or register on the Account page. The Overview in the Site manager shows tiles and charts for the marketplace.

Messages

Test-drive bookings, messages to sellers, offer requests and contact messages are saved under Site manager → Messages and emailed to you.
