SkillForge is a WordPress theme for online course platforms, academies, coaches and course marketplaces. It comes with a complete learning system built in: a course catalog, lessons with video, articles and quizzes, progress tracking, certificates, an instructor dashboard, and a cart and checkout that take real payments.
Every page is built with Elementor, so you can change text, images, colours and layouts visually without touching code. A one-click demo import makes your site look exactly like the demo in minutes.
A complete learning platform
- Course catalog: browse all courses and filter by category, level and price, with category pages, trending courses and "new & top rated" sections.
- Course pages: what you'll learn, a full curriculum with sections and lectures, total length, instructor info and related courses.
- Curriculum builder: each course has its own curriculum (Courses → edit → Curriculum) with sections of video, article and quiz lectures.
- Learning page: learners take their courses on a dedicated "learn" page. Their progress is saved as they go.
- Quizzes & assignments: quizzes are marked on the server, so answers never reach the browser. Learners can hand in project assignments for grading.
- Certificates: a finished course earns a certificate that anyone can verify by its number.
- Cart & checkout: add courses to the cart, apply coupon codes and pay by card with Stripe. Learners get instant access after purchase.
- Learner accounts: sign up, log in, my courses (in progress, completed, archived), wishlist, purchase history, receipts and account settings.
- Messages: learners message your team from their account. Your team answers from the dashboard, and both sides get notified by email.
- Instructor dashboard: instructors see their courses' sales, learners and progress, grade assignments and answer learners' questions.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate LMS plugin?
No. SkillForge's companion plugin includes the learning system: curriculum, lessons, quizzes, assignments, progress, certificates and the instructor dashboard.
Can I sell courses?
Yes. Add your Stripe keys under Settings → Payments. Learners can add courses to the cart, use coupon codes and pay by card, and get instant access.
What kinds of lessons are supported?
Video lectures (with your own video link), article lectures and quizzes, grouped into sections. Courses can also include project assignments.
Can I have multiple instructors?
Yes. An admin sets a user to teach as one of the courses' instructors (Users → edit → "Teaches as"). Each instructor gets a dashboard for their own courses.
Do learners get certificates?
Yes. A finished course earns a certificate with a number that anyone can verify.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. SkillForge works with the free Elementor plugin, which the demo import installs for you.
Can I make my site look exactly like the demo?
Yes. After activating the theme and the SkillForge Core plugin, go to Appearance → One Click Demo Import. It sets up the pages, images, menus, colours and fonts.
What are the requirements?
WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 8.0 or newer and the free Elementor plugin.
