Thank you for choosing Kindle, a WordPress theme for charities, nonprofits and community causes. This guide covers installing the theme, setting your site up exactly like the demo, and editing it afterwards.
What's included
- Kindle: the theme, as a
.zipfile you upload to WordPress. - Kindle Core: the companion plugin. It comes inside the theme package (in its
pluginsfolder) and adds the site's features (causes, events, donations, enquiries, maps) and the one-click demo import. - This documentation.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or newer
- PHP 8.0 or newer
- Elementor (free, from WordPress.org)
The demo import installs the required plugins for you, or you can install them yourself from Plugins → Add New.
