Licenses and renewals: your questions answered

Plain answers about what you get when you buy a Wow Themes theme or plugin, and what happens next. The full wording is in our terms and refund policy; if anything here differs from them, the terms and refund policy win.

What do I get when I buy?

A license key. It entitles you to download the product, receive updates and get support, for the number of sites and the period your plan states. You will find your keys, downloads and the sites a key is used on under Licenses in your account.

What is the difference between a yearly and a lifetime plan?

• Yearly plans include updates and support for one year. They renew automatically each year until you cancel.
• Lifetime plans are a single payment. They include updates for as long as we sell and maintain the product, plus the months of support shown on the plan.

Each product page lists its plans, with the price and the months of support, before you buy.

How many sites can I use it on?

As many as your plan states. Local and staging sites do not count towards the limit. If you move a site, remove the old one from your account and activate the new one. Please do not share or publish your key.

What happens when a yearly license ends?

The product keeps working on your sites. You just stop receiving updates and support. Renew to get both again.

Will I be reminded before it renews?

Yes. We email you 30, 7 and 1 days before a license ends or renews, and you can see the date in your account at any time.

How much will a renewal cost?

Yearly plans renew at the then-current price, which is shown in the reminder email before you are charged.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from your billing page whenever you like. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund a period you have already used.

Can I get a refund?

Within 30 days of buying, yes, if you have not downloaded the product, or if it is broken or does not do what we advertised. A download ends the right to a refund for any other reason. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you also have a 14-day right to cancel before you download. Read the details in the refund policy.

I was charged for a renewal I did not want

Contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it, as long as you have not downloaded an update since.

Do you charge tax?

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. We do not currently charge VAT or sales tax. If that changes, any tax will be shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for any tax you owe in your own country.

Open a request from Support in your account, or email [email protected]. Support covers the product as delivered, not custom changes or third-party code.
